Earth Hour 2012

Earth Hour happening really soon. It's 31st March today! And today, I woke up as a zombie, and felt like I ran a thousand miles this morning. Joke. We (YPF) had our very own Running Man this morning all thanks to Hannah and her team for organizing. Ran and chased each other though most of the time I was walking. No stamina. Urgh. When was the last time I was running, or do sports even? Weather was being unkind as usual, as it was drizzling and cloudy but thank God it didn't like rainnnn. Somebody is really unhappy with YPFers going for outing huh? I remembered the last time we went for cycling, super heavy rain. It ALWAYS happen, I wonder why. Maybe someone needs to stop singing in the shower early in the morning? Teehee.

Oh yes, Earth Hour really soon right? I used to be a strong believer in all these events and super semangat like "YEAH MAN! I WANNA MAKE A DIFFERENCE!" Now, Ms. Skeptical me decides that when I need light, the lights will stay on. I mean, everyday I will try and off all unnecessary lights/fans/anything running with electricity/water. It takes more than just one day, or ONE HOUR to make a difference don't you think? The thing is, events like these are too mainstream. What I mean is, I don't wanna hop into this bandwagon just because I want to be part of this big thing that is happening.

Almost every page that I liked in Facebook is participating and joining this Earth Hour - so it gotta be big. It's also a marketing plan doncha think? But I believe it's a good step to bring out awareness. But to bring a change for the better, awareness is one thing, taking action is another. Just like BERSIH 2.0. The demonstrations are an act of bringing awareness. Taking action - voting - is another. So if you gonna take part in Earth Hour, my take is, do it in every other day of your life. Stop switching on your air-con all night long unnecessarily!

Konapun - Sushi

Warning: Cuteness overload ahead

A very long time ago, I think about last year, my sister showed several videos of what Konapun is. You should google what it is or youtube it. Cutenessssss. And so, I madly love the concept and idea of Konapun and that is part of the reasons why I always adored Japan/Japanese for their sick creativity.

So the sisters tried out sushi Konapun the last 2 weekends. Snapped a few pictures. I super love the process of making the Ebiko sushi. Amazed by the "technology" behind it. Whut. It's actually edible but who wants to eat such a cute thing right?!

Sorry for the horrible pictures, I didn't manage to tweak the right settings for it. Hah. EBIKO, I love you. Now I'm craving for some sushi.

Missing

I'm missing. I'm missing you. Two sentences, made a difference by a word.

Very very busy for the past 1 month and will be busy until mid April. I'm halfway into finishing my assignments and presentations, I just want to get over it. Getting marks I'm not expecting is demotivating.. Just when I needed the least, at least a credit for all subjects this semester, things seems to be falling apart. Okay, maybe it's kinda exaggerated here :1 it's not like I fail anything and in comparison I didn't do very bad either.. It's just.. Not enough :( I need a credit for all subjects this sem to qualify for a lil scholarship for first year. Better than nothing. Really. Ugh. Credit was the lowest I got for the last 2 semesters, and it wasn't really that hard.. It's just that I don't have the confidence. Lecturers commenting on courseworks and presentations makes me anxious. Though they haven't give us back the marks but from the feedbacks, I know I haven't done well enough to get enough marks.. And that feeling sucks. I've done enough for the first 2 sems, I hoped it's enough for me this sem too.. :( And I hate Moral Studies. I MUST mention that here. Ugh.

I'm missing my friends. Friends I made over the past few years. Of course we've all moved in our own lives. But yeah, I miss them :'( I really miss the days chatting away on MSN and there's no need for stalking on FB. :( Sigh.
Sorry, it's just midweek rant.

Video of the Week: Carrie Underwood - Good Girl

Haven't been watching lotsa videos for the past week but this is great :) Carrie Underwood's new MV is like a fashion video. She looks soooo pretty and stylish. :) Enjoy. To see how much she's been transformed ever since AI. Uhmayzing. :)

Video of the Week: Kony 2012 - Peter Chao

Video of the week! Okay, netizens, we've seen Kony 2012 all around since last week. I haven't read watch the 30-minute video about Kony yet but I have been reading some of it, cause it's faster. But I've watched what Peter Chao have to say about the Kony 2012 issue.

The language Peter Chao used is a bit.. blergh. And the way he talks is really annoying to me :1 But then, I agree about the most of the thing he says. A lot of content. So excuse the way the message is delivered by him. Do watch =)

What Women Want

Unboxing Jays v-Jays Headphones

One of gadgets I now own and use is v-Jays Headphones :) I'm not gonna write a review or anything. Just stating my first impressions and also the unboxing of v-Jays pictures here. I didn't spend any money buying this :1 Won it via a slogan contest facebook. Yay. This was very long ago anyway, back in 18th November last year.

So I really love the packaging. Ya know I dig stuffs with good packaging. As seen in the picture, headphones are in one part of the box and the accessories in the other side of the box.

Really, really cool box. I rike :)

Accessories in plastic.

Very cool. And it's black I love it. I particularly love headphones and not ear piece because I have wet earwax and it really gets annoying when I put something IN side. Yuck. I practically don't use ear piece actually.

Been using for months now. Works great. :) Love it. Never regretted not selling it but instead kept it and use it myself :) More next time!
